4617 Zadunaisky is an asteroid named in honor of Argentinian astronomer and mathematician Pedro E. Zadunaisky.
Pedro Elias Zadunaisky (1918-7 October 2009) was an astronomer who plotted the orbit of Saturn's most-distant moon, Phoebe, as well as several comets including Halley's Comet, and various satellites including Explorer I.
He lived and died in Argentina. He was once a senior astronomer and a mathematician at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center.〔http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/10/09/BAC61A2HLA.DTL〕
